Mr Bun Mi in Victoria

"A lovely lunch here yesterday. We are experienced eaters of Vietnamese cuisine, from Adelaide, and one of us has been enjoying it since the early 1980's. We enjoyed the crispiness of the pancakes, and the salad and noodle dishes were lovely. The beef was perfectly cooked at medium rare. We were gifted a pannacota as first time customers too. Excellent friendly service. Only 2 suggestions, remove the Banh Mi signage, and I would have liked to make my own iced coffee."

"We’re from Sydney and stopped by Bunmi Resto while visiting Mildura. The staff were super friendly and kind, which made us feel really welcome. The food was amazing nothing was too salty and everything was cooked perfectly. The seafood rice noodle was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had in Australia. The portion size was just right and the price was very reasonable. We were really happy with our meal, and the panna cotta dessert was also delicious. We’ll definitely come back again whenever we visit Mildura."

"Wasn’t sure what to expect from a place with this name but we were very pleasantly surprised. A nice comfy atmosphere matched by absolutely enthusiastic, attentive, and friendly service. The food was clean, fresh, and authentically tasty. The bun bo hue was one of the best I’ve ever had with a light and spicy soup and the roast pork was really divine. The pho had clean but tasty broth. Definitely will return if we are ever in Mildura again."

"Went in with little expectations but we were very pleasantly impressed. Atmosphere was authentic and cheery. Service was absolutely extraordinary. Staff asked if it was our first time, and provided us with welcome desserts. Wonderful. Pho was great, as a Pho lover, it ranks as the second best I’ve ever had. Other food was very good tasting as well. Do note that portions are a bit big. Highly recommend. Perfect place for anyone to try authentic Vietnamese food."

"We tried: Pho – Beef Combination $24 – light, tasty broth with tender beef slices. Crispy Roasted Pork Belly $28 – crunchy skin and flavorful meat Special Fried Rice $22 – good portion, nicely seasoned.. Crispy Chow Mein Noodle (Meat & Seafood Combo) $26 – crispy noodles with a generous topping of meat, seafood, and sauce. Special menu: • Beef Rib Pho – $27 Very tasty — the ribs and beef were tender, and the soup was rich and comforting. Serving size was good. • Wagyu Fried Rice – $35 Very flavourful and filling. For first-time customers, they offer a free panna cotta — coconut flavour, not too sweet, and a nice little treat. The place is always busy, so booking is recommended. Staff are friendly and the ambience is good."

"Clean and tasty vietnamese food! I appreciated that it didn't taste too oily or fatty. I frequent Springvale and I'd rate this restaurant right up there. However... my partner thought it was too 'clean' and didn't like that it tasted too healthy lol. Everyone seems to get a free flan for dessert too?"

"A great place to eat when in Mildura. Decor and ambience invite attention and allows a sense of space. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The food is great too - everything was tasty, portions were good. Would highly recommend. PS the Panna Cotta was awesome - was half eaten before I realised I hadn't taken a photo of it."
